Dilon de Silva

    Starting the journey as a child actor at the age of four, to laying my hands on my first camera at the age of 10, I have been a part of the industry where I fell in love more and more over 21+ years. By the time I was in High School, I was dabbling in both acting and directing in theatre, which laid the foundation to my own unique direction style and outlook for both Film and photography. 

In the year 2001, I joined ETV and the following year,

I directed my first TV Commercial at the age of 17 and the next 20 plus years saw me travel across Asia working as an Ad film Director, shooting 

over 1700 commercials for TV and Digital. 

Part of my journey took me to Lasalle Asia College of Arts, Singapore for my Bachelors; a time which first rekindled my love for photography. With the industries of film and photography going hand-in-hand. I used both platforms to feed off each other and develop my skills. 

After a lifetime of creating memories with my life’s passions, here I am. In 2024, I began work on my debut feature, which is set to start production in early 2025. 

    Whether it is a TV Commercial or a Portrait Photography session, every project I work on has my 100% dedication and attention. Throughout the years, I have executed critical projects under the tightest deadlines and toughest circumstances. My attitude has always been, no script or no concept is too big or too small. I believe my confidence and my strength is built with the experience I have in trade and the continuous success rate in the field.

   Even though I am the face of the project, I am well equipped with the most dedicated and the talented team who shares my vision. While they bring different degrees of strengths to the team, they work together with me and with each other to bring the best possible outcome in any project.
